Chloie Jonsson- Lead Trainer
I’m a 32 year old native to Los Gatos, CA. I come from a very active family of baseball and football players. Alas I was drawn to being active, yet I was drawn towards other sports. In middle school and high school I did cheerleading and color guard.
When I was 14 years old I was in a severe accident that shattered my pelvis and caused me to be bed ridden for 6months. First word from the doctors was that I’d only be able to walk with assistance from a walker or crutches. Second word from the doctors was that even if I learned to walk without assistance that I’d have a permanent limp and that my right leg would be 1 to 2 inches shorter then the left. This really was not acceptable information to me, so with that I set out to prove the doctors wrong. I painfully and tediously worked with physical therapists to regain mobility and control over my body. Within a year I was up and running again with no pain and no limp! Ever since then I have tried to keep my body as healthy and active as I can.
I don’t enjoy just one particular activity. I like to try them all and give it 100%. From running to weight lifting and anything in between the pain of the game usually brings a big smile of accomplishment to my face.
I certified with NASM in May of 2011 because helping others achieve their mental and physical goals is an absolute passion of mine. There is absolutely nothing more satisfying then working side by side with someone watching and helping them get from the point of a mental block of “I can’t” to the physical/metal accomplishment of “I just did that”.
